Ella turned one last week. We celebrated with chocolate cake on Thursday (her real birthday) and a yummy Publix sheet cake for her party on Saturday. For those who don't know, Publix will give you a free baby cake when you purchase a child's first birthday cake from them. Ella tore through that cake like nothing I've ever seen before.....she actually picked up the whole cake and tried to eat it like a cookie. She had a blast. I think she knew it was her special day and we had fun celebrating with her. Groves was an awesome big brother throughout all of the celebratory activities!
